There's a little history about why all drives appear to be SCSI drives in NT, 2000 and now XP. This is a short story, but don't let it throw you off the track.

Did you run the disk management tool to partition and format your new drive?

I recently purchase a 200 gig hardrive i install it, Windows xp recognize it as SCSI drive, it cannot find the right driver for it.
