Today my SATA hard drive failed. When I took it to the shop, they noticed that my power connectors on the hard drive were damaged. When he showed me, I noticed too that the power pin connectors were bent but none went missing. He said "The power pin connectors were damaged and would not come in contact with the power supply when connected,". Basically he is telling me, my hard drive is not being recognized because we cant power it up due to the pin connectors being damaged. Meaning there is no way to retrieve my data since I do not have a backup. I am running on Vista Ultimate 64 bit, AMD Phenom X4 9650 Quad Core CPU, 8G Corsair PC6400 ram, HD 4650 CFX, 750 PSU. Please post any ideas on how to fix this problem and get my hard drive working again, thank you =)
