When I "upgraded" to Windows 7 Pro from Vista, I wound up with three partitions: OS(C:)198GB,RECOVERY(D:)14.9GB,and(G:)84.2GB. C, which has all my system stuff on it plus sundry files I back up to an external hard drive, has 128GB free and G is completely free. D, on the other hand, has only 196MB free and I'm routinely advised to tidy up, which I do.
Do I really need the RECOVERY partition if have original software? How do I get rid of G and add it to C? If system information is relevant in this case, it's a Dell Studio Hybrid with Intel Core2Duo CPU running at 2.6GHz with 4GB RAM.
