Hard Drive Limit????

Is there a limit to the size of a hard drive that can be put in a lap top????

1. What physical size is given to the internal drive. MECHANICAL LIMIT.

2. What the BIOS supports.

3. What the OS supports.

Today the usual new laptop can support the 500GB drives.

Per HD, yes 500gb i think is the limit. But many larger(17" or above) laptops, HP comes to mind, have capacity for 2 hdd's, effectively making total storage capacity up to 1TB.
