Question

Hard drive keeps on rapidly filling up with temporary files

Jul 19, 2016 9:42PM PDT

My hard drive is filling up at a rapid rate with temporary files (up to 1 GB every few minutes). The files being created are in c:\Windows\Temp\.

So far I haven't found anything with Norton, MalwareBytes, or Ad-Aware, though the rapidly increasing numbers of temp files searches are problematic.

While this forum doesn't read those logs

I do see a mix of Norton and other protection. That has resulted in very strange issues.

I'd select one or the other protection system.

looks like you may have two antiviruses installed, avg and nortons. One will have to go since it will cause problems. If you want someone to read your logs to see if you have any malware, then you will need to use another forum. I would suggest using techsupportforum.com

they have a malware section specifically setup to read logs. Just post your problem, no log until asked. and someone will help.
