Hard Drive Cloning

I recently got a new Maxtor 250GB HD to replace my 100GB HD. However, the software included cannot clone Windows XP. I want to know if there are any free, good cloning software available, that can clone the full OS and have it boot properly. I cannot install the OS from a disc, because the computer I got came with Windows XP pre-installed. Thanks.

Try Norton Ghost 9.0 You can get it on ebay for around $20. It's some SWEET software

max blast 4 can clone the drive

maxblast 4 should have been included with your drive.

from the maxtor site: "The copy feature lets you make an exact duplicate of your existing hard drive."

see page 20 (pdf page 24) of the max blast docs for instructions on setting up the drive as a replacement boot drive.
