Question

Hard Drive Beeps and isn't read by computer

So I have a samsung external harddrive and just recently when I plugged it in it started beeping and my computer won't read it... this has all of my deployment pics on it is there anyway to get items off of it or get it to work again?

Yes it is the same response. The hard drive is running I can hear it but it starts beeping moments after I plug it in and the computer never reads it

Ok...the options are to remove the

drive from the existing enclosure and put it in another enclosure or connect the bare drive to a system as an internal drive.

these 2 options from VAPCMD don't work, here's the third one:

3. Pay a data recovery company to get those files out. It won't be cheap, but maybe it's cheaper than the value of those pics. If it costs more that these pics are worth, consider them lost.
