Hard drive advice

Jul 25, 2005 12:06PM PDT

I currently have a 200 gig and a 160 gig in raid 0(both IDE). I'm looking at getting a third drive for back up. I'm not sure if I should get another IDE and still run them in raid, or if I should get a SATA drive for better performance. I would use the 160 as a program drive, the new SATA as a data drive and the 200 as a back-up. Then I thought what about a 10,000 rpm drive. Is it worth the money? Are they really that much faster. I don't do a lot of gamin, mostly video/audio editing. Thanks for the advice.
