Hard Drive

In my Dell Inspiron there is a 1TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive + 32GB mSATA Solid State Drive . In disk management I can see the hard drive but not the SSD drive any idea's

I think what you will find is that ssd is a cache unit.
It works with your hdd to store stuff.
It is not designed to hold files that you can access.
That's why it does not show in disk management.

A model number of this machine would be nice.

Where is it?
For that you would have to dig out a service manual.
It's more than likely just a small card with a few chips on it.

How it works?
It works with some software either Dell or Intel supplies.
