Hard Drive

How can I get stuff off of an old hard drive? I thought I had had everything transferred to my new computer but find out after looking for certain photos that they are not here. The old drive has been removed from the old computer. I just don't know who to call who does this work and can't afford to take it to Data Dr's as they charge too much. Before I removed the old drive I did a search and it found thousands of images but I have never found ALL of the photos that were on it by this means. It took me many months to go through all those photos. I also have some small floppy discs I need to get stuff off. Can someone who has a computer with one of these discs transfer it to a CD?

Why not add a floppy drive to your PC and do it

yourself ?

Is the old hard drive still working ? If yes, you could buy an external USB 2.0 case, install the drive and get your data off if it's still there.

Sounds too complicated for me plus I suppose it would cost more than I can afford.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
