Question

Hard drive

by cab_driver / January 12, 2016 8:22 AM PST

I just got a great deal on a new desktop after the ram went bust on my old one (it was 7 years old and the fan was going). Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to back up some important work before the old computer went. The hard drive is fine and I'm wondering if there's a way I could get the files off the old hard drive; am I able to connect the old hd to the new mb to transfer the files to my external drive? Both have a windows 7 os, but I'm not very good with computer innards. Any additional info you need, just ask.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
