Windows never has moved to new hardware with any certainty. The bottom line is simple.
-> You have a backup of the files you can't lose.
Given that, you can move the drive and see if it works or if it fails try the REPAIR INSTALL.
-> In closing, Windows rarely finds all the drivers on its own. I guess that's what we are kept around for.
