hard disk error

vista boots normally ,but on running dell diagnostics i get error 0416,which require hard disk change according to dell site.What should i do abt this error..

How did you get into running the Dell diags?

Most folks don't go there unless there is a problem.

hd error

i just ran it once my system turned off as battery was dead.
now when i try yo install windows it says boot sector not found. and still same error on diagnostic

This answer gives rise to a new question. Why do you try to install Windows if Vista runs normally?
