Hard Disk drive not found

Dell Dimension E510, XP-PRO, 80Ghd, Pentium D, 512mb.
My first error message read "FLOPPY DISKETTE SEEK FAILURE" When i press F1 as instructed, error message reads "NO BOOT DEVICE AVAILABLE" When i try to boot from the Dell recovery CD that came with the computer, it began to reinstall Win xp until it got to where it gave me this final error message that reads "SETUP DID NOT FIND ANY HARD DISK INSTALLED"
I check boot sequence and you wont believe... error is (1)Onboard or USB Floppy drive(Not present,SATA HD not present, Onboard IDE HD not present. Is this computer going bananas or what is happening guys ??? There is no floppy installed to this system but a 80ghd is certainly installed and was operational, well!! until now.

Instead of the recovery disk

Try the process that I pointed to in your other post. If that does not produce a result, then there is more wrong than a reinstall failure.
