Happy Birthday Tim Alden!

Nov 27, 2003 6:59PM PST

Hi Tim,

Wishing you days of health, happiness and peace. Wishing you playful healthy felines, a pain free knee, no electrical problems, sunshine, tamale pies, and lots of good breads. Wishing you many productive posts in SE, good luck with T Lee, a growing forum and progress with the RX-7.

Happy Birthday, Tim, have a real good one! Send me a slice of cake

Tons of Platonic love,

Rosalie

MzLee,

Thank you for the cake and ballons.

May I assume, based on where this gif is located, that you have MSN as your ISP? I've had MSN, Earthlink, AT & T, GTE (now Verizon), AOL, JUNO, BCTV (Barrow Cable TV [Barrow, AK]) and am currently with a local ISP. Happy

Cindi,

Thank you for the birthday wishes and the cute gif.

Nothing like watching it while it was loading on dialup. Was sort of like slow-motion in parts. LOL

Thank you Diane.

Have you tried to post something like ** without the *? I'm not even sure these will show up here as they are simply the "code" to make text italic.

I wondered how folk were posting without even putting a period in the text box, so I asked Blake how he did it and this is what he told me.

Hi Blake,

Thank you for your B'day wishes.

Actually, even I'm not having the traditional cake. All I dare say here is, think "Henry's" only better. Happy

I don't stand much on "ceremony" and if I keep this up, I won't be standing at all. But, what the hay, I've lived almost half a century and had a few laughs and hope to see my 50th, god willing. And, if she is not, oh well, I gave it a hell of a ride for this incarnation. Happy

BTW, this is yet another cue for our dear friend, Roger to step in with a leading question. Notice I said "leading", and not baiting?

In case you did not know that I LOVE to yack, I'll say it straight away: give me an inch and I'll give you the camel's nose. I know, I know, mixed metaphors, but I like to step outside the box.

Even if I don't know why I left in the first place. LOL

This almost sounds like one of "our" gods, Ronnie Reagan. But, we can't be PiC and do ANY disparaging till about ten years past the untimely demise of a poor man who seemingly has outlived his appeal beyond the "vast right wing conspiracy" crowd.

Marcia,

Thank you for your kind wishes.

BTW, CONGRATS on your new home.

Perhaps now would be as good a time as any to ask for your forgiveness pertaining to our prior upset. I'm really not a bad fella. Just ask my wife and a few other folk who know me a tad better than most. Happy

......I do not have the time nor the inclination nor the energy to hold grudges - especially with folks I have never even met! Happy If you were my next door neighbor, or a co-worker, or, heaven-forbid!!, a relative, it might be a different story. Wink

Nothing to forgive - the whole thing is a moot point in my life at this time. Way, way, way too busy to be concerned with it - so don't you be. Happy

Hope you had a nice birthday with family

I normally don't do the 'Happy' stuff except for kids and old people. I have to say you do have perseverance and staying power in SE, enjoying your presence with some of your remarks.

Have a good one in future to come.

Hi John,

Here is hoping you are in the best health possible. Happy

Thank you for your kind words. I still remember way back when you gave me an "investigative pass", and if I did not already appreciate your presence here, I sure did then. Happy
