I started at CNET back in 2000 during the days when we breathed and bled green, yellow, and red. Remember those days? Here is a snapshot of what CNET look like when I started here:

It has been a wonderful journey so far. From the crazy dot com bust all the way through today, we've come a long way. The people behind the scenes at work is what makes CNET what it is today and what a great place to work and to be part of incredible team. What can I say, I love CNET!
Of course there is the CNET community members like yourself, Darren. Those who show their passion around tech and always willing to share their knowledge to help another person out. I truly appreciate you and all the members of our community. And I want to say Thank you! Your loyalty to our brand means a lot to all of here at CNET!
Thank you Darren for the Birthday wish!
Kind regards,
-Lee
I started using the CNET site many years ago and have just received an e-mail mentioning that it's CNET's 20th birthday. Wow that's a superb achievement.
Well done to CNET and the superb team that have always been great and friendly. In 1995 when CNET started I was half way through my National Diploma in Computer Studies at Warrington College, and I think it wasn't until about 1997 that someone introduced me to Download.com when I was doing my HND in Software Engineering at University of Central Lancs in Preston. Since then I've regularly used CNET and Download.com for various things, over the years Download.com has always been a great source to find useful applications.
Thank you to the superb team at CNET for a great 20 years, and hopefully here's to another 20 more!
