I hope you enjoyed your Canada Day celebrations, as well.

Tonight there will be a professional fireworks display in rhythm with our local symphony orchestra at Riverfront Park. I attended the spectacular several years ago. Now I watch it on TV.

Due to a draught here, people have been asked not to shoot off their own fireworks. But they will. So my dog will again spend the evening in what he considers his "safe place" under a table. Happy

Hi Angeline

I was waiting for some relatives to come down from Ontario.

I was sitting at my computer late at night and could hear "popping noises" and thought they might be the sound of a car door closing, (but I don't think they had 20 doors) then I realized they were setting fireworks off about 5 miles away.
