After reading one of the 5 start reviews on the Walmart site, it said that "the only thing I didn't like was that the TV had the "Soap Opera" effect. You can get rid of it by disabling the clear motion effect". Well, if you disable it, then the TV will be hampered by pixel blur on fast motion, so what good is it? I have two LCD TVs that are 120Hz and neither have the "Soap Opera" effect, because they have very good video image processors, but didn't cost $500. My 2-cents: Do yourself a favor, spend another $100, and buy a 42" 1080p Panasonic Plasma.
I'm looking for input on the HANNspree 42" HDTV sold from Walmart.com, here's the link
