Handycam and Sony Vaio

Hi all,

So, I have a Sony Handycam (DCR-HC30/HC40). All of my videos are on the MiniDVs.

Recently purchased a Sony Vaio, and am trying to use the handy 'Click to Disk' software that came with it. Pretty easy to work with except for one issue I'm having. A lot of my tapes have blank sections in between the various recording sessions. My first recording gets transferred just fine...but it starts giving me issues on the subsequent recordings (ones with blank section in between).

Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this..??

Start "Play" again ?

I think this can be done at the computer (at the program) or at the handycam itself... I do not have that handycam nor the VIAO,and the program, but are there any options or preferences at the "click to disk" program to ignore blanks so that the tape keeps on moving till the end ?
