Boy the only thing I can think of is a pocket pc..
But really the DS seems like a good fit..
Plus I think its user friendly
I am looking for handheld game system suggestions for my mother. She recently broke her wrist, and injured her other hand pretty well to boot, so her dexterity is pretty limited at the moment.
For the most part, she likes simple puzzle games. Solitaire variants, Mahjong, Sudoku, Crosswords, etc. She doesn't really like competitive games like Chess, gambling games like Poker, or things of that nature.
Ideally, I could find sort of a cheap LCD type game system for her. Kind of like a Nintendo DS, only it doesn't need to have a touch screen or the graphics capabilities of the DS. Preferably the system would have multiple puzzle games on the internal flash, but if it has a cartridge based system that might work too.
All in all, she doesn't want to spend more than about $75 on this. So, I'm kind of leaning towards looking for a cheap used DS and picking up some of the various puzzle games that have come out for it, or possibly an old PDA that I can load some games onto for her. But I'm wondering what else might be out there.
