Pierre,
A rather unknown make of camera, to say the least. I see it primarily, if not only, sold on eBay. Did you already read our recent Question-of-the-week thread on eBay scams?
If possible, I would return it to where you bought it and get a refund if the product isn't complete or not working. That's called 'warranty'. You're rather vague with your "someone", so I can't tell much more.
My google results:

1. you get what you pay for
2. Try opening it with Windows Explorer like it's a drive. Make sure the camera is turned on and in the correct mode.
Regarding that last advice: I assume that "someone" didn't remove the user manual also.
http://www.halinaimaging.co.uk/
seems the site from the maker (usually a good place to download drivers), but redirects to a site where you have to login.
Doesn't look too good, all in all. Hope you can get your money back.
Kees
I have a Halina mini digital camera that did not have the CD with drivers and software. Someone had removed the CD. Have tried Arc Soft, but that does not work with this camera, nor does HP drivers. "Drivers.Com" has no listing and I have looked all over the web with no results.
Does anyone have the CD that could make a copy?
Thanks,
