Suddenly half of my lenovo LI2721s flatscreen monitor is shaded grey. I can read through it, but it is annoying. Anything I can do to fix this?! I would greatly appreciate any help!

Unplug it and and let the monitor sit a for awhile, than plug it back in and see if it still acts up.
If it does..... Try another monitor and see if it still happens.
After that , if it still happens, it could be other things but, I'll have to defer to the pros. here to go deeper but , maybe these questions will give them a head start.
I have to learn to leave the Enter key alone lol
Thank you very much for the suggestion! Unfortunately, it didn't take care of the problem. I appreciated the idea, though!
another monitor ? If so, and it still happens all I can think of would the GPU or maybe another cable of the same type you're using
Thank you for the suggestion. I tried a different cable, and it didn't make a difference. I have dual monitors, the 2nd one is OK. I don't know how to deal with it if it is a GPU issue. The good news is that it's not bothering me as much as it did at first!
