Question

Half of my pictures are missing from all folders

by Braytography-24617569699840858115344427801166 / April 15, 2012 6:27 AM PDT

Just now I went into my pictures to see an old one and use it in a presentation. I have my pictures organized by this:
PICTURES>
2010
(multiple folders)
2011
(multiple folders)
2012
(multiple folders
Or in words: Under pictures it is categorized by year, then again by every event that year.

In every folders just over half of my pictures are gone. In EVERY folder.
It would make sense to lose one from a folder if I accidentally moved it. But not over half from all 50 folders.
They are not in my recycling and do not come up in a search. Turning on "see hidden files" doesn't help either.

I need to know where they went and how I lost them????
-recently dowloaded Bluestacks from bluestacks.com
-run Spybot every week. It deletes "temporary files"?
-play on Armorgames, addictinggames, and clubpenguin

Spybot is dated. Might be a clue.

Do the scan noted by Grif and then we'll look at the results and then consider unhide.exe.

If these can't be put at risk, turn off the PC, remove the drive and ask http://www.drivesavers.com how much to get all the pictures off the drive.
