Had anyone have problems with Vobiw.sys?

I have MS Windows XP Pro, installed in my computer (Asus motherboard A8NE-FM. AMD Athlon 64 3000+, 1 GB RAM, an ATI Radeon X1300, 200 GB HD, DVD Writer. I got alot of blue screen booting the XP. Windows reports a problem with vobiw.sys. I remove Pinnaccle Instant Writer from my system and also vobiw.sys from the registry. Still I am having problems with it.
Windows is reporting taht not longer is supporting this. The latest version of vobiw.sys in my systen was from June 2006.
I already discard any hardware problem.
This problem showed up after I installed Nrtn On-Line potetion andWinows Updas.
Does anyone has aolution for this problem?

made a back up restore set earlier?
If so, then reinstall windows.
