Hacking internet through the phone line.

How does someone hack the internet through someone's phone line?

You did not write the same thing. While you don't use wireless, others can if this is the stock settings.

Your posts did not reveal how you disabled the wireless.

Turn off remote management. There is of course the ISP which is allowed to touch the thing. And then you have all sorts of bugs in firmware that could lead folk to think they were hacked. For example I had this router that I would change a setting yet it always seemed to show I never changed it. But it was working in spite of the bug.

I can imagine if someone else saw that they could think they were hacked.
