You need to contact your System Administrator and arrange for him/her to scan your PC for malware.
If you have been infected as you suspect, then by being on a Lan your computer may be infecting the whole intranet network.
Do this ASAP.
I am using winXP pro and connected to internet through LAN/College proxy. all the computers in my campus are connected through LAN. A few days back i allowed on of my college mate to use my system, while i was out.
after that some times my system started behaving like crazy. Mouse cursor starts moving here and there, out of my control, some windows are closed, some new are opened.
system not in my control at all and every time it happens for 10-20 seconds.
Is it possible that that guy or some1 else has left a trojan inside my system and has been accessing my system? is he able to read all the msgs/mails and retrieve passwords etc. (
I am very much worried. is there any way to trace this person. can i make any logs of such intrusions so that any action cd be taken against him.
[note: there is very less chances for outsiders to access as our firewall at proxy server is equiped with very strong filters (have heard about it, no details i have)]
