GWX control panel

Now that Microsoft has stopped the FORCED downloads to Win 10 do we need an app like GWX installed on our computers ? Or should we just keep it anyway ? Thanks, Mike

Nope.

There's another month to go as the offer is still there for another month. This is in the news so I'll pause here.

That aside, the office, home, lab, family, and my brother's business all put in extra time to get up to 10. We're not going back.

Re: GWX

It's not something you can uninstall yourself. But it's being said Microsoft will remove it via Windows Update, just as they installed it via Windows Update.

I heard it's been disabled

by Microsoft although I also hear people are still getting free upgrades.
