guest account

hey there, the reason I made a guest account so people who uses that account have limited access to my computer. I log on and tried the guest account, and I tried dowloading files, running it, and install. The only thing it does is not let you install, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to prevent people using guest account to download and run a program, because they could be downlaoding a virus and opening it without know. so the best way is to prevent them from downloading any files. Can someone please help, thanx

I'm confused

If you can download but cannot install a program in the Guest Account, then the same will apply to other users of the account.

They can download, but not install. Any viruses within the downloaded file will not be installed.

Or am I missing something?

You can not 100% preventing a limited or

or guest account from installing a program.

Yes, there are many program that won't install, BUT many other programs can be install by using limited or guest account.. (such as games etc.)

The best way to prevent it, is to educate the users or don't share your PC.

Good Luck
