Burn an American flag?

Lose your citizenship for 1 year.

HOW would THAT work?

Have to leave the country for 1 year?

REapply to get into the country?...Takes 23 months to get approval to re-enter the country?

Logistics of implementing such punishment?

Wouldn't it be easier to send them to jail for 1 year?
