Grip sensor on Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3100

May 30, 2013 8:43PM PDT

When I use this code: *#0*#

I found Grip Sensor. I checked and I saw that there are 2 hidden grip sensors on my device which are not announced by Samsung: one at the left corner and one at the top back.

You guys, does anyone know what to do with these sensors, can you guys suggest apps,tips,tricks,...(like Ticker Display on SCH-i400 Continuum) ?

Thanks very much in advance!

I'd try an Android or Samsung Forum on this one.

It's also possible that this may have no use in apps since it's just this make or model so a developer would ignore this.

It's for the smart covers they have i think. When the cover covers the screen it locks it.

Now that time has passed, it's not about the cover.

But how the app can ignore touch areas that the person is gripping the tablet with.
