My problem was explained previously exactly as my tv set does after being OFF for 2+ hours. If if turn it off and then back on, display appears normal. Several people point to bad capacitors on the power board and Samsung has a fix for this with a new capacitor/power supply board witout charge. I called Samsung CusCtr, the dude had me go thru the setup procedure (I knew this would Not fix problem)
It did not. I asked about the Extended warranty ( mine was out of warranty for 3-4 years). He said I would have to pay for parts/tech time if I got a tech visit. Any ideas (Callback to Manager, put in new capacitors (16 volt), how difficult is this?) Thanks..
