Question

Green lines in the picture

Oct 4, 2015 5:29PM PDT

My Samsung tv has green "static" type lines going through it. Even when the cable is disconnected it still happens. Never done it b4 but now it won't stop, and it was going off and on by itself. Any clues?

The cable statement doesn't tell much as many TVs blank the screen on no signal.

Are you able to see the lines on multiple sources? If so the unit would require service. If you only see it on the cable source, the issue would be with the cable your connecting with or the cable box itself.

In case the unit does require service, here’s the thread where you can get details on setting that up: http://forums.cnet.com/7723-13973_102-542437/service-issues-click-here-for-help/
