Great show, slo-o-o-ow download

by tre~ / January 30, 2007 12:48 PM PST

I enjoy the reparte' you three deliver with such verve. Thanks for the laughs. You are so quick and clever on the uptake. Not so quick nor clever is the download speed of BOL through iTunes. After clicking update, I walked upstairs, brushed and flossed, picked out a book to read tonight before listening to BOL, returned to the PC, checked progress, looked up my BOL username and password, and wrote this post. The download is just 1/3 done and I have a 5 meg down cable connection! And it was just as slow last night. Glad you Buzzers are popular and no complaints about the price, but, hey, we all love speed.

I use iTunes too. Mine took less than a minute and I was downloading 3 other podcasts at the same time.

I have the same issue
by Dirty Pirate / January 30, 2007 4:07 PM PST

I started the download at 0745 GMT and it 60 percent done at 0806 GMT.
I check my line and it is clean. I am wondering if the server it is hosted on is having issues.

I am in Hawaii and the normal speedy download is slow as a slug, iTunes is reporting 45 minutes for the download (1/30/07).

The 1/29 was the same.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
