Question

grapics driver

I have a hp pavilion a 1410y pc desk top that uses ati radeon xpress 20 series graphic driver. I checkd for updates an that was ok. Hoever when i run a video the computer shuts down and microsoft says i have a graphic driver problem. Am i able to buy that hard ware ad replace it or do i need to take it into a geek? lol Please advise

There is that new issue with Flash that sounds like you encountered. Google this -> DISABLE FLASH HARDWARE ACCELERATION

Yes it points to a bug in the graphics driver but GOOD LUCK in getting that fixed.

HP and Video drivers

HP is famous for not having on its driver page the latest driver. I have a HP laptop and AMD has updated the video drivers 8 times since I bought it but HP still has the driver that came with the laptop on its drivers page.

I use the mobility drivers downloaded from AMD site and they work great compared to the driver HP still has listed for the laptop. Click the link below and see if they have drivers for your video card. I make no claim on how well they will work for you but I can state that the mobility drivers I have downloaded for my laptop are far superior to the one at still listed at the HP driver page.
