Dell's website should let you plug in your service tag (or whatever they call it) and from there finding the drivers should be simple.
Making a Dell work isn't simple and making them understand it's broken is an effort in frustration, but finding the drivers isn't too bad.
I bought a Dell XPS M1330 64b laptop with Vista Home Premium in Nov 08. Form the start, the computer could not download MSoft updates. I tried Dell's instructions to restore the computer and that didn't fix it. Finally, MSoft sent me a Vista Home Premium installation DVD and I installed that this morning. Then I ran Dell's drivers and stuff CD. Everything is working except the graphics card. The computer has a nVidia GeForce 8400M GS card. I cannot find the drivers for it on Dell's site. nVidia says Dell uses proprietary drivers so I have to get it from them. I went to download.com and they have about 30 driver sets for this card all with a different product code. Any advice on where to look for the drivers would be appreciated. Looking at a washed out font set and 1024x780 resolution isn't fun.
Thanks,
Jim
