Question

Graphics driver issue + windows 10 download issue

Mar 13, 2016 7:17PM PDT

Hi all,

So yesterday the windows automatic update ran. It messed up my graphics driver so everything is huge. I've tried rolling back the driver update to the previous one and that didn't work. I read that it can be caused by not having windows 10 (I have 7), so I tried updating. It's given me issues 3 times now, freezing or not updating when I reboot.

It's now also running extremely slow, freezing (I just tried to update my AVG to see maybe if it's a virus, for some reason it had uninstalled) and just generally being uncooperative.

I have AMD Radeon R9 200 series driver.

So I can't go looking for you. Try to always put your PC's details in your posts and if possible a link to the maker's sites so folk can point out which driver to try,.

In parting, don't take Windows Update drivers. In fact, it's time to change your Windows Update settings. Read http://www.askwoody.com/ms-defcon-system/

We are at Defcon 2.

just have to change the resolution. Make it as high as it will go and things will get smaller.
