Graphics Card won't initiialise

I've installed a game on my IBM Thinkpad T21, but when I try to run it, it says 'failed to initialise video card'. I have other games on there that run OK but this one is giving me trouble..any ideas what ther problem could be?

Any help would be much appreciated

Tell what the name of the game is, the Operating System that is on your Thinkpad so others can see what possible problems are.

My first guess is that its a 3D game and your Thinkpad doesn't have a 3D capable video chipset.
