Question

Graphics card is super loud but nothing has changed

Apr 11, 2017 3:21AM PDT

I have the Gigabyte 980ti g1 gaming, with a 5820k, 16gb ddr4 ram. For the cpu i use a 360mm aio watercooler. PSU is Thermaltake Smart SE 730W. Until this morning I have had no problems but as I started up Battlefield 1 my graphics card started to become a jet engine. The temps seem normal high 60s low 70s. Cpu also nothing changed 60°C. I reinstalled my nvidia drivers, tried using fan controlling software but i still get the loud fans. Even at 25% of the max speed the fans are louder than usual. Only during Idle the fans spin at usual speed so that they are pretty much silent. If anyone has an idea and knows what the problem is please help me.

This is a mechanical issue.

So check your GPU warranty to see if they cover it then shop how much it will cost to replace the now loud fans.
