how to check On-board Memory of Graphics Card

Just run the DX diags that MS provides is a good enough test. If you have bad video outright the video card just won't work correctly or at all. To run the "directX" test, type: dxdiag at the start->run->dxdiag foloow prompts.

If your video card has any, run its own video tests or visit thier support website to see any is available.
