Question

Graphical problem followed by systemcrash

Dec 11, 2014 8:37AM PST

Hello everyone, i have some trouble with my windows 7.
I encounter the following problem,
when i start up my windows i come to the loginscreen, it looks all normal except that inside the bar where i type in my password now also the word PASSWORD is written, normally this field was empty. When i type in my password and enter my accoun, i get to my home screen. Now all the icons are there, but they have no text what so ever written underneath. On my Taskbar a window seems to pop up, it only has a small icon of a pcscreen with a exclamation mark. But the window stays invisble even though its on my taskbar. When i go to the start menu nothing happens.
When i try to open taskmanager i see no text. When i try to open any file on my desktop it seems to open a window looking at the taskbar but nothing else is visible.
When i open a programm i get a blue screen:

win32k.sys

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

*** STOP: 0x00000050(0FFFFF90c0850000,0x0000000000000001,0xFFF960000D2364,0x0000000000000000)

When i try to restart my system in safemode it stops after loading the File:
Windows\system32\drivers\CLASSPNP.SYS

Nothing happens and i can only shut down my laptop manually.

Does anyone have a suggestion what could be the problem?? Thanks!

Miro

Hi,

This are the most common reasons for this cause:

1. An outdated graphics card
2. An issue with DirectX or OpenGL
3. A corrupt myplaces.kml file that is crashing your system upon launch.

run chkdsk /f

You may have had a sector go bad on the hard drive. Also after chkdsk /f is run, if you can get into the system run Defrag from there. Also run the sfc or sytem file checker.
