Graphic Card Upgraded

I have an Acer Aspure 5601 AWLMi and the graphics currently is an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. I was wondering if anyone knew if i can upgrade to a new graphics card such as a 256 card for my notebook. I called the Acer customer support and they told me nothing, they said yes, bring it to a computer professional and ask him.... great support there... So any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Acer has a really poor after-sale service, yes ...

On most laptops, you can't upgrade. Only the nVIDIA MSM GPUs certified can be upgraded, but it is extremely expensive, you'll need to tweak the cooling system/add cooling pad...

And with integrated IGP, it is simply impossible. It is soldered to the motherboard.

THe GPU is really the only component that you can't upgrade on a laptop.
