graphic card/pc glitch

Good afternoon from South Africa...I have a real weird one.
1. pc 1 has a dual core with a nvidia 7300gt graphics..works beautifully
2.pc2 has a single core with a newly bought, newly installed geforce 6200 graphics card. problem..all the dxdiag test ok but my graphics test looks like the attachment
.
tried everything from changing hard drives, reinstalling windows, latest nvidia drivers but still no joy so no games can be played on this pc. put card 6200 in pc 1 and it works fine..put it back in pc 2 and the same dismal result. so it proves that the card is ok but something else wrong on the pc or bios or whatever ..any suggestions????
Would appreciate some help..Rudie
Cannot paste the photo here but the graphics are all screwy.
Can send the photo to anyone interested Rudie

That 6200 is getted dated.

What you didn't write is what happens when you change to a more modern card.

PC 2 and Graphic Card Incompatibility

Based on what you have said, I personally think that the graphic card you are trying to use is incompatible with the specification of your motherboard. Please review the compatibility mode of your motherboard to determine what graphic card is available to use or which is not...

TKS for the 2 replies..quite possible but as i said the 7300 works fine in pc 2. will check the compatibility..have asked via for info as well. Being a retired old sailor cannot always afford to buy new graphics and the 6200 is about the best agp available in south africa at present.I have put the 6200 back in the dell pc and the 7300 in this pc so all is well for now but it is a puzzle that i would like to resolve. regards

It sounds like you solved it.

By putting cards where they work it sounds solved.

However I do encounter folk that never heard about drivers. Those folk only need to catch up with the need for drivers. However the 6200 is outdated and is not recommended.

tks for the efforts guys.. not solved but resolved. it is still a puzzle why the 7300 gt will work and the 6200 not..but as u say swopping the cards works ok. I even tested the 6200 with call of duty modern warfare 2 on the other pc and it runs very well at 1024 x 628 so alls well that ends well.. still a puzzle but at least i can challenge my grandkids on any of the 2 pc's so this thread now over regards
