Question

Grand Mosque in Mecca Struck by God?!

Sep 11, 2015 2:50PM PDT

An opportune punishment for the violence Islam is spreading around the world? Or just an accident of no significance? Hmm.....

87 Muslims killed by huge crane crashing down on the Grand Mosque in Jeddah.

"Amateur footage posted on social media appears to have captured the moment a crane collapsed on the Grand Mosque in the Muslim holy city of Mecca, killing at least 87 people.

It is not known what caused the accident, but the unverified footage shows people walking calmly before a loud crashing sound is heard.

Mecca is currently preparing for the annual Muslim Hajj pilgrimage."

My condolences to any who were "peace loving" non "radical" Muslims who have never danced in the streets nor expressed joy over the destruction of the World Towers in NYC, or the beheading of Americans, but only to those, if such among those killed and injured exist.

Lots of wind and rain.
Same thing happened in Milwaukee 1999 . Folks are in a rush to get the job done but, with Big Blue the Operator refused to make the pick that day due to high winds and his oiler/ apprentice said 'I can do it" and the company let him .

interesting video, no side wind protection?
Sep 11, 2015 3:50PM PDT

Don't they have a limit on what wind speeds they are allowed to work in?

- Collapse -
Sure
Sep 11, 2015 3:52PM PDT

25 mph wind is the rule of thumb.

Now ask me "what about gusts?"
Sep 11, 2015 3:59PM PDT

Can you guess when the wind is going to gust ?
That's why the operator in Milwaukee refused to make that pick that day.
He's also the one that shot the video.

This one i Mecca is purely Operator Fault not God's

God works in "strange and mysterious ways"

So, what a coincidence it happened on World Tower Day, September 9-11 and a beautiful rainbow, a sign of God, was delivered to the new World Trade Center. Very interesting coincidence.

Sep 11, 2015 4:45PM PDT

I was on the North Side , just North of Old Town , driving piles for the new Apple store lol.

They evacuated the Loop but, we just kept working. All the roads and Mass Transportation were so jammed , we went to the bar after work, watched the news and waited till traffic died down .
Folks were really in a panic

I had the TV off when I first got up
Sep 11, 2015 6:05PM PDT

I don't like a lot of noise anytime, but especially in the morning. I got a call from Dad telling me to turn TV on. What a thing to wake up to! Transfixed by the news I thanked Dad for calling and shortly hung up to watch it all. I thought it would leave a burned out husk, never figured it would collapse.

In 2018 september 11 will be on a Tuesday again, as it was also in 2012 and of course 2001.

Contrast: World Trade Center is Blessed by God Today
Sep 11, 2015 3:39PM PDT
Signs of the times?

What a striking contrast. Many killed in the Islamic Holy Place in Jeddah on the same day the World Trade Center Towers were destroyed by Islamist attackers, while the new World Trade Center gets a beautiful rainbow over it, reminiscent of God's promise to Noah.

A great anniversary day of hope on this september 11th.

9-11 casualty stats increased
Sep 12, 2015 5:12AM PDT
http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/12/middleeast/saudi-arabia-mecca-crane-collapse/index.html

"A construction crane crashed through the roof of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, killing 107 people and casting a grim shadow on a yearly pilgrimage that draws millions to Saudi Arabia.

At least 238 others suffered injuries when a powerful storm toppled the crane, according to the nation's civil defense authorities.

The crane fell 10 days before the start of the Hajj, an annual pilgrimage expected to bring 2 million people to Mecca.

The mosque is the largest in the world and surrounds Islam's holiest site known as the Kaaba. "

I've seen pictures of the Kaaba and wish I hadn't because it now reminds me of an episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond" and his mother's sculpture. Maybe if they changed the shape of the silver surround? If they don't supposedly worship idols, why do they have that thing as center of their religion anyway?

Casting aspersions again?
Sep 12, 2015 6:03AM PDT

I report the stats and that's what you come up with? You must have missed this part.

"My condolences to any who were "peace loving" non "radical" Muslims who have never danced in the streets nor expressed joy over the destruction of the World Towers in NYC, or the beheading of Americans, "

Now why would I "rejoice" over the same thing I condemned many of them for doing? Since Saudi Arabia is doing a lot to keep the "radicals" out of their country, I'd suspect many of those who died were not rejoicing on 9-11-2001. How about you?

The nice thing ...
Sep 13, 2015 1:37AM PDT

about adding a question mark to something you say is that you can say you never said it, and - on the contrary - you're far from even suggesting it. A nice rethoric trick, that James uses more, like in http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/are-these-obama-teen-imigrants/

Let me try also:
Is James really gay? He's so opposed in writing about it that it may be compensation for being ashamed of feeling so. A quite common psychological mechanism.

Do I find the coincidence interesting?
Sep 13, 2015 6:02AM PDT

Yes. Do I KNOW it's something God ordered up for them to have that storm at that time drop that crane on what I believe to be an offense to Him? He hasn't said, but Jesus did mention "signs" in his day and derided those who failed to recognize them.

Never happened You know why? I cleared out the bad and weak ones years before.

You say you did your "weeding"...A "sinner" could do the same thing?..... Right?

clear out the bad and weak ones (trees) and then carry on sinning?

Just in case some entity figured you needed a "wakeup call"? Eliminate one of the repercussions of sinning?

Another arrow in a sinners quiver, in case there is a power failure.

I see YOU have taken other precautions just in case the "lightning bolt" misses it's intended target.

In case the power goes out......I have a woodstove with two burner holes on it and an old Griswold frying pan with a ring on the bottom that fits the burner hole. Also have inverter installed in my van (with remote starter too) and can use extension cord into the house and my crockpot runs on just 150w, so can be used to warm or cook with.

To me it seems the non-sinners receive the same destruction weather wise as the sinners. IF/WHEN both sides make the same preparations...they appear to come out even.

I just had an image in my mind of someone sitting on the couch during a power failure...Wrapped in a blanket, hugging their warm crock pot (containing a couple cans of Dinty Moore Stew).

Chanting.....I am not a sinner, I am not a sinner, I am not a sinner.
