But I thought the death sticks of choice were now Tarrlyton.
It's R rated for language. The parody is strong as the flavor.
"I got these chest x-rays free, with Raleigh coupons!"
Mad magazine, in fact.

In 70 years I've never heard "death sticks", which is good.
I've always heard "cancer sticks".
Later I heard "coffin nails".
Both also good.
Our own is longer. "Cigarettes will kill you. If not now, then at Armageddon."
I'm surprised our own Conscience of the Witnesses hasn't 'revealed' a time when some Witnesses used tobacco. When word came down from the top*, many in the Carolinas and such had to give up their livelihoods- or Jehovah. Before my time, but our DVD of publications goes back to 1950 for the Watchtower, so I know about it.
About twenty years before the outright ban, the Watchtower of 2/15/1950 printed a three-page article "Why Christians Shun Tobacco". Strong words, but no directive yet to expel smokers from Jehovah's organization.
Anecdote: When the Nazis began taking over our facilities in Germany, a Witness came to one office with important information and found an imposter group there. How did he know? Smoke. He made some excuse, and went underground.
* And remember where "top" is.
Moreover, we don't encourage others to use it, via 'recipes' for vapes.
We vote life.
No tobacco.
No drugs.
No armies.
Oops. Forgot Bible.

Is like going to church with half a bible, cut in middle, sideways, and expecting & hoping to get the full understanding and experience of it.
dpruner did the same in his link as JW group does, adding something else that's not supposed to be true. Notice the extra period in the link line? That's what happens when one adds things that don't belong. ![]()
However, following tradition, what had been put/said there previously, has now disappeared.

....all the world used to draw those spirals, to say a hurricane or tornado happened "here" on such a date, etc.
I'm not happy with my part in it. My off-topic insertions were meant as humor, and usually taken that way.
But, there's little humor to be found just now in "Paradise". Sorry.
The trouble in paradise (Bahamas) is not life threatening but life taking. But I get what you did there.
