That's bad. (Typical US storm front moves 30+ mph.)

Born and raised on one of the Bahamas, he's in charge of helo ops. None can land yet, but he flew over. 'I don't recognize any of it.'
Until they find landing spots (for helos, remember!) the logjam of medical supplies and personnel in Florida remains.

I spotted a few golf courses that were above water and fairly clear.
I'm sure the helo ops will spot that soon.

Grass to hold it together, nice flat areas, etc. Not much for high winds to grab hold of.

'Hurricanes gather energy over oceans and lose energy over land.' That's the basic teaching. Notice it 'lost' three levels in and on the Bahamas- from five down to two.
I hadn't known about its track being harder to predict after it starts moving again.

I'm a forums moderator for a site owned by a major entertainment company. Big stuff, even if our President did get caught with his pants down in a broom closet. #MeWooHoo!
We have this poster who's always complaining about the trouble he has using the Internet with his crummy smartphone. You know, a whiner.
Got my revenge. Sent him an imgur link, knowing he would hop on it.
Hah! Imgur is crap on phones. Jumps from link to link, locks in on half images, scrolls randomly, misreads finger taps, won't play videos, the whole Internet from Hell thing.

by "our President" in that statement you were referring to the President of that 'big stuff' entertainment company you moderate for? Are you bragging with all your 'name dropping', drp? You seem to do a lot of that for some reason with all your 'country hopping travel' mentions and now you're a forums moderator somewhere on the net. My, my....with all your jw work, too, how DO you manage to find so much time on your hands every day, many times a day, to 'inform' a few here in little known now SE?

I did the usual copy+paste but still "Wrong turn." As to Imgur on phones I have this Android phone with the Chrome browser and all good here but then it has Ublock Origin turned on as well. Bees' knees, cat's meow, and more.

Your video wouldn't play, although it's obvious what it was about. I had talked about the stalling earlier.
The still from it does indicate that it made a very sharp turn northward after, so Florida dodged a large bullet.
Recent updates show that its large size is causing severe rain problems away from the track. Mainland Carolinas e.g.

but actually a "gif" file. A browser must have the ability inbuilt to properly display them in motion, otherwise just see a single "frame".

I notice Rob's would, too, if I d/l the imgur app. I don't. No redd, friend, link, like, twit or any other popular stuff.
I get along fine with the Internet on smartphone. In fact, we're using it now, aren't we?
