These files come from my Rand McNally website for my gps.

I'm still having to guess what the goal here is. I write a few (too many) apps and once in awhile folk will ask me how to "open" one of the files from these apps. I have to reply that such files are used by our apps and are not usable with Word or such.

Download GPX Viewer and see if that does the job.
