GPS Problem

i am new to this forum and need help with my car GPS , cousin went to China bought a GPS and it worked fine after a couple of months just could not acess the GPS but everything else on the device works, i do not know what make it is , and need to know if anyone can help me with any information on how to get my lost data back.

Seems like a warranty issue. Back to the shop then. Or, if the user manual contains a contact address of the Customer Service department of the maker, contact them.

Things that aren't clear in your post:
- what other "everything else" on this GPS is (my GPS just is a GPS)
- what data you stored on that device (all I ever store on my GPS are a few favorite addresses)

I would bite the bullet and throw it in the trash can

I doubt you will be going back to the store to complain and the warranty will probably do you no good.

Refurbished TomTom & Garmin are cheap enough to be throwaways.
