The Garmin StreetPilot C330 and the Garmin StreetPilot C330-GPS Receiver are the same device. Another thing to consider when purchasing a GPS device is the mapping provider. Garmin uses NAVTEQ data while other GPS devices including Mio and TomTom use Tele Atlas data. I haven't used the C330 before, but my TomTom ONE 3rd Edition is roughly the same price as the C330 and it works great ? both in terms of being accurate and easy to use. I haven't used it for custom POIs or anything like that yet, but for everyday use around the DC area it does everything I need. Let me know if you have any more questions and I'll be glad to help.
I am looking for a GPS navigation system. I found the Garmin StreetPilot C330, which looks like a good match for me. I also found the Garmin StreetPilot C330-GPS receiver. What is the difference? What does the GPS receiver do that the other does not do?
