GPS dilemma

my GPS dilemmas are similar to yours Kelly (re: Road Trip episode)

although, I'm leaning toward getting a Nokia N800 internet tablet and getting the NAVKIT for North America (all in ~$600).

anyhow, I was thinking of several other GPS solutions:
