Aug 8, 2010 1:31AM PDT

gave my old one to my mom....but first had to wait for mine to be hooked up etc...in meantime I had gotten her a logitech wireless mouse and keyboard to use with her old PC...I have the same mouse and keyboard..when I hooked up my old PC for her the mouse and keyboard are NOT working...they worked ...same brand and model when I had it here...why cant I get those to work...did I miss something..I did all the hookups correctly..even undid and hooked back her old dinosaur PC and they work perfectly there. She has Windows XP any my tower I gave her is windows XP...keeping all my things on it for her to use but we cant get it going because of mouse and keyboard not working. We both also have Comcast broadband.

To get that working, you have to install the wireless receiver (most likely in a USB-port) and install all the drivers (came on CD, most likely, also downloadable from logitech site).
